Things To Explore...
You've selected the
Majestic Hills Homeowners' Association Demo and indicated that you'd
like to experience the demo from the perspective of a
Board Member or Property Manager.
When you log in to the website, you'll find a link titled
"Manage Website" in a menu on the righthand side of the page Follow that link to explore
the various capabilities that are exposed exclusively to administrators:
- Add a new resident
- allows you to add new records to the resident database and create website logins for new residents
- Edit an existing resident's record
- allows you to view and update data about existing residents; the specific data elements that are stored are determined when we create the website and we can store as little or as much information as needed
- Extract and download data
- allows you to download data from the resident database in a comma-delimited format that can be used to generate mailing labels, create custom documents, or synchronize existing third-party systems
- Designate Association Officers
- allows you to specify the individuals who hold various offices in your HOA.
- Send messages
- messages can be delivered to residents via email or the in-site messaging option; this admin area allows you to create and send messages to residents using either approach
- Manage website content
- one of the most important features on a website is the ability to keep content current; use this feature to see the content that is currently published throughout the website and to add new information or edit what's already there
- View usage reports
- see detailed information about who is using the website and what features they are using
As an administrator, you'll also have access to the general areas of the website that all members can access. You may want
to explore the following features as well:
- Homepage
- exposes information that is available to the general public and which visitors see when they arrive at your website
- Community Calendar
- this area of the website shows upcoming meetings, special events, and community activities
- Our Covenants
- provides an area where documents related to your HOA can be provided for download
- Meeting Minutes
- demonstrates an area where information about recent meetings and decisions of the HOA Boad can be posted
- Discussion Forums
- allows homeowners, board members, and property managers to read and post messages in forums that are categorized by topic. Advanced preferences allow users to customize the forums to suit their desires
- Photo Gallery
- Enables residents to view and upload photos as well as to categorize photos by "tagging" them with key words or phrases
- Message Center
- A private and secure way for homeowners to exchange messages in an email-like format right on the website
- Homeowner Directory
- the heart of every Ization Website, this feature provides access to selected information about members of your community. The information that is shared can be set globally or residents can determine which information about themselves is made available to other residents
- Update Your Profile
- allows residents to review and update the information that is kept on file, providing accurate contact information and other data about each homeowner
